i was told today that 1 1 gauge run and 1 4 gauge run was way way way too much for a autotek mm4000.1 and a 400x2 component amp apparently since the 1\0 is welding wire it can handle anything...

I hate when i go into shops and ask about some amp than they switch me to something it dont want than get the facts wrong

I went with a friend cuz he has 4 PCA2000ds and was wanting to switch to 2 6500s...well the lady there behind the counter kept telling us about the Orion 5000watt amp(you know the one that replaced the 2500d) and keeps stating that its 5000watts...5000watts......why do they even put this on the boxes....yeh its 5000watts if u have 2 of them strapped at 2ohm...but we just walked out cuz they wanted like 1000 for the Orion no need asking what they wanted for a real 6500watt amp

oh, and his Hifonics 2000 watt mono was "3,000 dollars"...

on my Treo, i loaded up ebay and asked him why they went for 200 bucks all day long.

thats funny, the maximum db level that a sound wave can be in this atmosphere is 194dbs the
lol also something interesting.... 202 db's is loud enough to kill you from the shock wave alone

Nasa has made the loudest noise at 210db's it can punch holes in solid oblect. so how is nasa doing it if 194 is the max. link in 1 sec there server is down.

194db is the loudest theorized sustained sound. Explosions can cause much greater sound pressure. The 194 number was calculated assuming the compressed portion of the loudest sustained sound wave will be twice atmospheric pressure and the uncompressed portion a vacuum.

ok but i didnt read any wehre that were where talking about sustained sound. but really it is good to know. its kinda crazy how 194 is the loudest sustained sound and the car audio world is comin up to it. What will we do once someone hits 194? then what will we stive for?

I know I had this one kid come by and show me his 8" flip down he had installed on his headliner by a buddy....I looked at it and said " Nice are those the antennas coming through the roof ? because after 194 the soundwaves aren't soundwaves anymore, they are too distorted and becaome shockwaves.... read your own link.... at 194...
