I've been lucky enough not to encounter people like that for sometime now. I did go to get some carpet for my new box the other day and the kid selling me carpet asked me what I had before, told him 2 DD 3515's and 3500 watts, he's all that's cool, Ive got 2 P1's in my cavalier they are insane! Didn't even go there...

I wasn't sure if it was used for those as well. He told me that having woofers in his door speakers was the same thing as having a sub though. I told him I had tweeters, woofers, and a sub but he never did believe me.

I recently had a system installed that the place pretty much ****ed up on. They blew my CAL 25 tweeters from my rainbow germanium set and he said that even though I asked them to turn all the gains down and volume down, it was still my fault because I had them remove the passive xover. I asked him if he knew that it's ok to run a standard component system active and he said it's not ok and that the xover's are strictly made for those drivers and even if the manufacturer says that the tweeters will handle a certain amount of power, they really can't without the xover. This is the owner of Audio Excellence in San Diego by the way and he's had a lot of trouble with "that companies speakers before" (rainbow).

Was at the gas station last night and was bumping a little bit while hanging outside my car talking to a couple friends.

Had a guy come up to me (who I will not mention race //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif) and told me my stuff sounded good, but it will sound 15x better if I had at least 2 more sets of tweeters in my doors.
