well than friend sas rms doesnt matter lol and he said his jensen hu put out more watts then normal because it had a screen he aid it did like 60x4 i lookes it up it did umm 14x4 rms

sold a guy a set of dvc subs and he asked about wiring them to his amp and when i explained he said that he knew the other voice coil was there as backup for when you blew the other one......had a guy say he blew his back glass out with a pair of audiobahn 12's and a 400 watt amp....he got pissed and left when i said he didnt.....had another guy fry his stuff because he had a 2 channel amp and dual vc subs and literally daisy chained all the voice coils from one channel through the box back into the other channel, thought that meant it was bridged....and most recently had a guy tell me he had an 18" 13w7.......

I was telling a guy about my power supply upgrades, 4 batteries, 200 amp alt, 0 gauge runs...He then tells me about how a capacitor is going to give my system that extra boost, and suggested that I invest in one.

Hmm...where to start, really, as I have heard many sig-worthy tales from various people through the years I've been in this hobby....

And that they had to be in a trunk car because they would damage SUV or hatchback rear glass too easily.

I told a guy on accident that I had 2 fifteen THOUSAND watt amp and he said, ****, thats a lot of power.

I told him that I needed 200 ft of 1/0 and he said, ****, thats a lot of wire. I then proceeded to tell him that I was running power and ground from the battery. To which he replied you know that will fry your alternator. He said I should be ok with one run and a gold plated distribution block.

Oh this was the guy at the local audio shop by the way.
