Stumped by comp noise/hiss

Did you have the same wired to the + and -.. If you have 0 gauge positive you should have 0 gauge negative also.. Put negative wired direct to the chassis..did you do the ground loop???

Ok, just did a little test. Took an old MB quart coax speaker I had laying around and hooked it up to one channel of the amp and it had the same hiss. No rca's hooked up.

So it's got to be either the amp or the ground.

Right?

Ok the 0 gauge is going to the tantrum - not the problem, well that's another story.

The 4 gauge is going to the JBL - the hiss. It actually has 4 gauge power and 2 gauge ground, only because it was the right length and I had it laying aroud to use. It's 2 gauge welding cable.

No more help?

Maybe the JBL px300.4 just has some floor noise.

I have an email into David Navone, if he or squeak9798 can't help me, I guess it's a lost cause. We'll see.

Squeak got anymore ideas?

Anyone got any more suggestions?
