Anyone had these? Looking to piece together a a relatively budget three way front stage setup in my 2013 Lexus rx350. Bottom is a 6x9, mid is a 2.5 and tweeter is 1” or whatever. Was thinking of using the tweeter and 6x9 from this set and adding a 2.5. (Morel or cdt) Gonna run a dsp and dedicated front stage amplifer (each speaker to separate channel)

Thanks in advance

You will probably have to buy an adapter to fit a standard 6x9 mounting pattern in your car. For a lot of cars, you can also get and adapter for an 8 in that space since it's nearly the same size. Just to suggest more options.

You may save some money looking for individual speakers or sets that don't come with a passive crossover since that adds cost and you're not using the crossover.

The massive speakers seem to be discontinued? Do you already have them? If so, I say use them they look fine

Thanks man yeah was deliberating everything separate with cdt, a combo of sb and morel and an 8” with 2.5 wide band tweeter/mid

The massive set was easy access for relatively cheap and the ct2 tweeter is what I’m using in both my other cars. Plenty loud and detailed

What's the total budget? Sounds like you have the massive set. Just looking for recommendations on the midrange/amp/dsp?

Most of your budget will have to go toward the amps and DSP. Especially if you're using budget speakers (which isn't a bad thing they will sound very good with proper tuning via dsp and with amps).

you might spend 150-200 on speakers but just a decent cheap DSP like the DSP-408 from dayton audio is 170. And dsp is for sure worth it if you have the budget for it i just don't know what your's is. And the amps will cost a bit too. Even low power ones because you need 6 channels . Again, worth if if it's in budget.

Thanks man. I’m either doing the marts btx8 or the zapco hb-410 dsp/amp . Leaning toward the zapco as it Want the flexibility of the 10 out to either run rear fill off the zapco or connect the front center. I
Will use amps separate of the zapco dsp, the marts would require it anyway

All That said I’m just not trying to over index on expensive drivers. Gonna focus on well
Treating my doors.

I think I’m gonna go with

midbass - CDT cl69s 6x9 or one audio mb8.e
Midrange - Morel ccwr254 2.5
CDT drt-26s, cdt es1200is or seas prestige 27tffnc/g

I'm not a seasoned vet and can't compare the Zapco but I've had the Marts BTX8 in my ride for about a year, I love it and it's super affordable. I think I paid $120 or so. Mine balances a 1000w rms 12" for sub bass, a 300w 10" for midbass, 2x 150w 6X9 components for midbass/midrange and 2x 150w tweeters for my highs.
