stregnth vs size?

If i wanted to become buff as hell without roids and shit

would i want to do high reps low weight or lower reps higher weight
Just eat a ton of good food...and lift heavy.

Try to increase the weight every week, a 5x5 routine incorporating squats, deadlifts, and bench should get you on your way.

You can accomplish a lot without the use of AAS

i know im not that dumb with body type, and foods, and protien and shit

i was just confused which builds size

meso- ive been doin weight i barely get 4-7 reps for 4 sets, breaking body parts into 4 times a week, basically working a part once a week, allowing shit ton of recovery time, with whey and some NO/glut/other shit in there..

i think thats good enough, il keep doin ma thing then.. and do a jenny craig in a few months to be the new situation lookin fâg

Well most of the strict hypertrophy driven body-building workouts tend to have reps in the 6-10 range. So if you desire size rather than strength you can go that route.

However if you desire to gain strength along with some mass I would suggest you try a 5x5-esque program. Just try to do heavy compound lifts and you will grow. Here is a good read

Carnal's treatise on heavy Iron - Sherdog Mixed Martial Arts Forums

As for a routine try to have a main compound lift for each day. IE Squat/Bench/PowerClean/Deadlift/Rows Basically if it is hard to do, it is good for you.

Eat what you can but don't waste your money on NO products, they have been proven to have no real effect rather than the caffeine content. The only product I would recommend is protein and Creatine Mono.

Good luck

A muscle can only get bigger or smaller, there is no such thing as 'toning'. Doing higher reps might burn more calories, therefore causing you to burn more fat and in the end getting more 'ripped'. Also, doing very specific muscle exercises might cause your body to become more defined and increase mucsle seperation, but muscle composition won't ever change based on exercises.

Stick to 8-12 reps to build muscle. Proper nutrition and rest are so much more important than supplements. If your trying to get bigger then go for the big muscles (back, chest, and legs) and power exercises (dead lifts, bench press, squats). And if you are going to spend money on supplements just stick to creatine, glutamine, and protien powder.

Of course genetics will only take you so far, but you might as well find out what that is before laying out cash for roids.

been goin for the last year off and on, and last 3 weeks consistently..
i dont feel any soreness after lifting now.. help lol
Your body adapts to exercise, so you tend to be less sore after a few workouts.

But my guess is that you need to add more weight and work hard. Try to work near your max and put some effort in. I've been lifting 4-5days a week consistently for the past 3-4 months, and I still get plenty sore. I've been lifting for years before that as well.

Have a heavy full-depth squat day, and I guarantee that you will be sore.

I disagree. I've seen a hundred times a guy with biceps the size of my head (and muscular) Can't lift as much as me.

I think you can affect the density of your muscle fibers based on your body type, workout, and diet.

Think bruce lee, dat guy was relatively tiny but stronger than some body builders 4x his size.

The size of the muscle does not equal the strength. Muscle composition does change based on exercise among other things.

Human muscles should be able to achieve much more strength per pound than most body builders.

Soreness after a workout is due to a buildup of lactic acid in your muscles due to anaerobic fermentation.
