Yea not sure what Shredder is on about. Just casually drops that's line then leaves. To my knowledge nothing we've said is wrong and if it is he's more than welcome to correct me
If it's cause he has a different opinion on the equipment we've suggested, fair enough I guess that's his preference.

Regardless tho those SQLs are great subs and I'm not the only one one these forums to recommend them to people. If you are set on ported, pick up one of their 15s and build a nice ported enclosure around it if you are willing to give up 1.5 inches for height. I'm sure someone on here can give you a nice box reference design to show your box builders.

B2 audio is very efficient. The rage 12 1 ohm is 91 db which is very effeicnt. On top of that they sound amazing and get very loud & low. There is a reason why Steve Meade runs b2 audio and many others speak very highly of them.

I'm not sure if it was mentioned, but have you thought about extending the ports outside of the box? I'm sure you're trying to keep the box below the back seat, but the ports can be extended up the sides of the box so they don't block your view, and it would only be part of the ports, not the entire length of the port.

I agree with that but X max, fs, bl, rms, sensitivity, the required space, the box you use, your electrical, the music you listen to & end goal will all go into what sub is best for you. Not one thing makes one better than the other because they all add up to what is best for you.

Good subs in a bad box will sound worse then some crappy subs in a good box.

I do like b2 audio rage, Memphis mojo, sundown u series, and i would like to try the resilient sounds platinum v2 in the future but still building & saving up for my current build i am doing. This is an expensive hobby lol but impressive
