I would bet you are sitting at 2 ohm strapped. I don't see them holding up that long at .5 strapped.
havent officially clamped yet but on burps my voltage can dip down to low 10'sThat doesn't sound right at all. .25 ohms is really low for daily, unless your imp rise is like 4x. Have you clamped to see output power and imp rise?
well im not extremely familiar with how amps react when strapped together but i am posotive that my subs are dual 2 ohm/each sub is wiredI would bet you are sitting at 2 ohm strapped. I don't see them holding up that long at .5 strapped.
Well the reason we are asking and I would say perhaps taking a look even pulling a sub out to check it over is because .25 per amp is very very low and if you dip into the 10s on a burp you would have a very good chance at killing the amps during daily play. We are not saying it's not possible, but something just seems off a bit.well im not extremely familiar with how amps react when strapped together but i am posotive that my subs are dual 2 ohm/each sub is wired in parallel to 1 ohm/and the two subs together are wired in parallel to .5 ohm final load

well it just seems like they should be louder at .25 each. when i had one m3a on both subs at .5, my voltage dropped to 12.2.Well the reason we are asking and I would say perhaps taking a look even pulling a sub out to check it over is because .25 per amp is very very low and if you dip into the 10s on a burp you would have a very good chance at killing the amps during daily play. if i am indeed at .5 strapped then what would you say is a safe workingIf you are truly at .5 ohm you are limited in power by your electrical not the amps possible power. Adding amps/power is not always the answer in order to get more out of the setup. If you drop much further in voltage then you are you will end up with some pricey fog machines.
You need to rewire the subs in series/parallel for a final load of 2 ohms (1 ohm each amp). Use a DMM to see what the nominal load is to check your workif i am indeed at .5 strapped then what would you say is a safe workingvoltage to try and stay in?
Which depending on what you have is normally between 11.8-12.5 in most cases.A good rule of thumb I like to follow (for daily) is not to drop below battery's (ies) natural resting voltage.
