Hello all. I need advice on battery and or alternator installation with my current set up.
I have done big 3, have group 27 100ah agm in rear. dual run 1/0 power from front battery to rear battery, dual 1/0 ground from rear battery. Each power from front battery is fused with 200 amp fuses. Dual fuses from rear battery to distribution block (2 in 1/0...4 out 1/0).
From distribution block I have 2 amps strapped together. Each amp is 2000 watts rms. Each amp has dual power runs from distribution block which are fused as well. Both amps have dual runs ground. All grounds from rear battery and amps are solid.
*All fuses are ANL 200amp 12 volt.
*I have a 320amp alternator.
*Each amp is a mono block with 4 12" subwoofers wired at 1ohm final load (500 watts rms to each)
This is a daily driver playing musically, no demo's or competition. Average play time is 10-20 minutes while driving.
Is this setup sufficient to maintain power and not damage anything? (ie. batteries, alternator?)
Too many fuses?
Thank you ahead of time for taking the time to read my post. I want to be 100% sure this is the correct way of applying the wiring and fuses.
