Help With My First System

Hi everyone, I'm approaching 16 years old and looking forward to tricking out my car. The first thing on the list is to add some new audio, and I thought subwoofers were the way to go because of my love for sweet bass. Remember, I've never had any experience with subwoofers or car audio at all so please be very broad in your responses.

Here's the Setup I had in mind, first tell me if this works. I'm still a little unsure whether or not this is the right amplifier for the subs, so if someone could clear that up for me that'd be great. Also, I'm putting the subs in the trunk, will 2 10" be able to be heard clearly in the driver's seat? I drive a Honda Accord, so the trunk is completely sealed off from the interior, so that seems like an issue I'd like to be enlightened about. If anyone's had any experience with anything in my setup it'd be nice to leave some sort of feedback on the product for me //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

Yes it does, although I was thinking to face the subs out the trunk, what were you thinking?
Well I didn't see that you had already bought the subs and an enclosure. I was thinking a 4th order bandpass with the port firing thru the center passthru. One 12 in that setup did really well for me.

But with what you have is a nice starter system. It should sound really good.

And so far from what I see, you have a damned good starter system. And yes the 10's will be nicely heard in the drivers seat.
Perfect, so I have all the things I need? My Amp can handle the subs, and I only need 1 wiring kit to hook up both of them right?

Sorry for all the questions, this is the absolute first time I've ever dealt with audio myself //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

Oh I didn't buy anything yet, but I was imagining facing them away from the car in the trunk like this: http://image.mustang50magazine.com/f/9600288/p97939_large+1995_Ford_Mustang_GT+Trunk_Subwoofers.jpg

To hook that one amp up, yes one install kit will suffice.
Thank you very much, I appreciate the nice feedback. I wasn't so lucky on other forums, I can see myself spending a long time on here //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

if you haven't bought anything yet ,i would ask around for better equipment , the subs aren't that good .amp is ok but for the cash you can get better ,unless you are buying used and getting a great deal.

Well money isn't exactly an issue here, but I'd like to keep it below $450. I'd also prefer smooth, clear bass over blaring noise. I'd rather be surrounded by sound in my own car rather than vibrating those around me, so if you have any other suggestions I'd like to stay in the 10" range.

As for the amplifier, I just picked it to match the RMS (slightly higher) of the speakers, and it had relatively good reviews. If you have something else in mind, please let me know and I'll take a look and consider.
