Stinger 9000 series rcas locked

So i got a 1.5ft Stinger 9000 series rca and i cant get none of the four twist locks to come off.
I have had sets of these before and not had this problem.
I am so aggervated, any suggestions? Its beyond dumb, i have used vise grips and everything to get them to try to turn.
Maybe i just go a defective set….
