Stepson's first system. DC audio level 1 12"

Does anybody have any experience with these? Not much found using Google. Also had my eye on Incrimanator audio I sereies 12"

Powered by a JBL GTO501ez and an old decent for a prefab sealed box .92cu that I had from my teenage years. Will be going into a 93' Ford Thunderbird

With that box and amplifier, any one of 20 different subwoofers ( including the ones you list) will sound nearly identical. .92 cubic ft is a little small for good performance with most 12's. You would most likely sound better and get louder with a larger box, even if that means buying a cheaper subwoofer.

The lion's share of modern subwoofers are designed for use in ported alignment.

That said, any of those entry level subs are about the same.

I would get a custom box made. Most pre fab enclosures are just barely made for non mainstream branded subs and usually tuned pretty high (like 38Hz).

Try 40 to 42 to 44. They dont tune lower than 40 in most boxes ive plotted out.
