a 69 Charger, but I would get a blower system (or wait... did he say he did want that, and not nos... ahhh what ever)

I read about that S-15 in a magizine about 6 months ago.

Its has a blue-prinited, stroked and polished heads/block. ohh it sa 5.7L vett engine, with a Subburban 4WD into AWD with Twin turbos, and a huge a** intercooler (width of whole bed)

It did the 1/4 in like 4.7 or something CRAZY like that.. not sure exact time, it was something crazy... I remember they were talking about they were breaking.... eather rear axels or 1/2 shafts, cuz of too much torque off the line.

Good choice! //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif :D //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif :D
oh come on now, 4.7 in the quarter mile? i'm sorry, but it's not a top fuel dragster, there is no way in hell that it did a 4.7 in the quarter mile, maybe in the eigth mile, but not 1/4.

I'm not greedy. I would simply need 2 SUVs since I am 6'8" I don't have a choice.

2003 Cadillac Escalade on 23s, sounds & media hook-up: I gotta have room for the family & the homies.

&

I'll stick with the 2003 Ford Explorer Sport on 20s so I aint flossin too much, but I can get around town with out lookin too flashy. Also can carry my basketball gear.

2002 Lamborghini Murciélago, 6.2 litre DOHC V-12, 580 HP, 0-60 in 3.5, top speed of 230 MPH, and is so **** sweet looking.

Or, I'd get a Mercedes G500, 22" davin spinners, 3 15" XXX's and 3 RE 35-1D's, at least 6 TV screens, blah blah blah.

Originally posted by mykeys Uh no.. I meant 427.. The idea was shot down by the ***** AM officials mainly because it had overhead cams.. So they reworked it and came up with a 429.

The engine was based on the 427 side oiler made famous by the 66 Shelby Cobra.. The just took it a step further with new heads which made all the difference.

After being shot down.. they had a enough of the blocks that they had to do something so most went into drag cars.. Now you can find these engines on occasion in ads. In less than perfect condition the go for $16,000.

No the numbers aren't high. Do some research b4 you start correcting me.

Mike
But the 429 was in the Boss Mustang. So why are you correcting me by saying that the 427 was in the Mustang? And yes, those numbers are high. Are you fukking kidding?! 700 ft-lbs on a stock motor? In your fukking dreams. And whats this about a hemi Ford? Sure they may have made prototypes but they were never put in a car. If they did, prove me wrong and show me something, anything, that shows that ford made a hemi, or that a boss 429 had that kind of horsepower and torque numbers.

Well, there are soooo many out there and i don't have enough time to wirte all of them. BUT, two that come to mind are...

Muscle: 68' Nova

350 small block bored oover to 355

471 Weiand Blower

Roll cage

Custom Paint

Tubbed out in the rear, w/ 30" tires

Custom interior

*Street legal drag car* ****, what more could u ask for!

(me, my dad, and his friend took about 2 years to finish a car like this! helluva car, dyno-ed over 900horses....not sure of torque but i'll found out and get some pics too!)

Fast European: Dauer 962 Le mans

0-60: 2.7 secs !!! ****

i'll get more specs, got it in a magazine

It is insanely fast...top speed of 249 mph

back L8er w/ more info

peace, NG

I would keep my 2000 Civic because its the best year of any Civic and I believe it is one of the best designed every day car for the average family.... But if I had an unlimited savings bank I would have to take a couple different cars...

1998 Ferrari F50GT

Porshe 959 (best Porshe ever, possible even best car in my opinion) Its so rare that Wild Billly boy gates would have a hard to getting it...

Nissan Skyline (just to have fun with)

Finally i would get an actual tank... Just like the one the guy on tv who is the the cops best car chase show...

Those cars would make my auto dreams come true...

i'm surprised nobody mentioned the hemi cuda, unless i'm completely illiterate and didn't see it. guess what my dream car would be (i'd have to go with the classic).//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

here's somethin to think about: murcialago, pardon the spelling, means bat (the animal) in spanish which is almost directly related to italian. excuse me for being a geek.:p

Not sure that it had 700ft-lbs of torque, but it was a real beast nonetheless.

It exists, though is quite rare. It WAS put into several race cars, though the 427hemi never actually raced in NASCAR. It was modified into the 429 "semi-hemi" BOSS motor that is so famous. This motor did make it into production vehicles, as I understand it.

http://home.pon.net/hunnicutt/history_racing.htm

The Boss 429 was built in response to Chrysler's 426 Hemi and it's success in Nascar. Ford built a 427 Hemi-headed single overhead cam motor first, but it wasn't considered stock enough for the series so along came the "semi-Hemi" head 429. The task of wedging a 429 into the Mustang was given to Kar Kraft. Quarter-mile times were reported to be in the lower 14s. Although another of the hot rod magazines, Car Craft, slightly modified the stock 429 and got a 1/4 mile in the mid 12s. The street cars came from the factory with a conservative cam and a somewhat small carburetor.

Even more of a big deal were the exotic, lightweight aluminum heads, which, according to Ford literature, featured crescent-shaped combustion chambers. Ford wouldn't call it a Hemi, which Chrysler used to describe its 426, but did go so far as to call it a "Semi-Hemi." More often, though, the engine was referred to as the Shotgun 429, Blue Crescent, or of course, Boss 429.
Need more proof?
