starting my 1st sound system build- need assistance plz

and them sundown subs seem to be a bit better than the skar and DCON subs eh?

Its cheaper shipping wise going with the other sundown vendor than the soundsolutions. Would they match prices?

Sundown.. Skar.. Dcon... I would say close to each other... but i'll get flamed for that... for that series anyway

so is that a good combo then?

aq1200d with dual 12" or 10" (havent decided) sundown e series subs?

And what should i choose between 2 ohm and 4 ohm?

do you have the DCON's ?
i did and i have been ordering them for some of my friends and customers the set up i listed is like a bread and butter weekend pay check 750 for the subs, amp, amp kit, box, and install isnt bad every once in a while i have to do something different that cost more but i make a little and my friends enjoy the benefits of good equipment.

last equipment that i bought was sundown z12 v3s and a 2500d but im getting out of sound for the most part due to me going to brazil for 6months at a time. its just not worth me spending stacks on audio so my p2 and p300-1 in a sealed box does me fine in my hatchback

looking for a answer for an amp to work with the sundown audio e series 400 watt rms subs
you wont need alot of power and anything over 1000w is prolly too much unless you have the tools to keep the signal clean. personally i would get the aq750 and a pair of e10s d4. though i like my previous suggestion more just cause i have no experience with the e series other than what i have read. but i can say that sundown subs are underrated and do get loud for the money

So that 1200 watt amp is too much? I thought the amp should be a little higher than the subs. the 2 sundown subs would be a total of 800 rms and the amp is a total of 1200 rms. Is that bad?

everyone has a different opinion...you can run a 500 watt sub on 50 watts from now on, it won't hurt a thing AS LONG AS YOU KEEP THE SIGNAL CLEAN.
