So I bought an amp a while back and after installing it I was having issues, but didn't think much of it because my previous amp had the same sort of issues going on. I attributed the problem to a bad ground or RCA problem. Well I sold said amp and turns out it did the same in the buyers install, so obviously a problem with the amp. So I refunded and got the amp back. Recently I opened the amp to see if I could find signs of damage... no damage, but I did find something sort of suspect. There is a sticky residue on the bottom of the casing, maybe deadener or weatherstripping..anyway, I find a residue much like what is on the case is also on a few of the screws that hold the board down inside. That leads me to conclude this amp has been taken apart and tampered with before. (Warranty seal was broken, but figured they just took a peek inside at first). Long story...but this person has tons of feedback elsewhere but this seems rather fishy to me. What y'all think of this situation?

Say what again? Lolz
Basically I bought a jacked up amp and found evidence that the screws from the bottom of the case were put into the amp to hold the board down. Like the board has been removed and they just put the screws where ever. The residue that's on the bottom of the outside casing would have been on the case screws also. But the screws are clean, and the inside screws holding the board have a residue much like the outside of the casing.
