It actually turned out to be a good day, the weather turned nice, and I got a lot accomplished. I built the cover for the battery and fuse blocks, built and covered the 2nd amp rack, built the box and attempted to cover it.

Here's the box. I'm happy with the box, but being my first time working with vinyl, I tried to pad it to soften the corners, but the 1/2" pad ended up making the box look a little lumpy:
I think tomorrow I'm going to rip the vinyl off and try again without the padding. I sanded all the edges round, so it should look better. Then I just have to put the vinyl on the battery cover, bolt the box and woofer in, and I'll have sounds again.
