Started my new install today...pics inside

Well, the weather was terrible today, so I only got to work for a little while on my new install. I haven't decided what to do with my box yet, so I decided to work on the amp racks and fuse holders today. I'm covering everything with grey and black marine grade vinyl, which matches my interior perfectly.

First pic is of the battery box/fuse holders. I just carpeted this because you will not be able to see any of this part after the install is completed, but I wanted it to look finished. Excuse all the sawdust and dirt:



I then moved on to the amp rack that will flush into the side of my trunk. I got it built and covered today. I'm not really skilled with vinyl yet, so I'm learning as I go along:



Hopefully tomorrow I'll be able to decide what to do about my subwoofer enclosure and the weather will hold out enough for me to build a box.

I'm really torn on my enclosure. I really just want to build a 1.5-1.75 cf sealed box to keep the install as clean as possible, plus I wasn't happy with the sound of my old box, the bass didn't really blend nicely no matter what I tried.

yeah, once the rest is installed, it will be nearly impossible to get to the spare anyhow.

Well, again it's pouring down raining outside, hopefully it'll let up enough for me to at least get the other amp rack done today. I've decided that I'm just going to build a 1.36 cubic ft sealed box.
