So any recommendations on good sq and mid bass components

F8L 8" Sound Solutions Audio 8" 650W F8L Series Subwoofer - SSA STOREI would get these at half the price all day any day .. dont fall for they jl hype... they're not garbage by no means ,but but just retardedly overpriced. There's a ton of equipment out there that's just as good or even much better than JL for half the price. My thoughts anyway

or do a real SQ system and ditch passive crossovers and actually buy raw drivers, run active which is 100x Better than any component set.

aka scanspeak relevator/illuminators in a 3 way front stage active.

SQ is in the install and tuning. You dont just expect to slap an amp and some components on and expect to sound good.

EVERYTHING else in the install matters 100x more. aka sound processing and tuning, door treatments, positioning etc

Literally if you have a 1000 dollar component set, on a 1000 dollar amp on a stock head unit + line out convertor or aftermarket head unit with weak audio tuning options with zero door treatments and 2000 dollar sub setup in a pre-made box,

I can completely destroy you in both sound quality and loudness with flea market junk less than 500 dollars total in speakers and subs. However the doors are treated, everything is on a processor completely tuned for MAXIMUM SQ, aimed properly, subs in a custom high output and sound quality enclosure. Destroy as in, not just loud and clear, you can literally see the music live on your dash board. Loud, it'll be loud enough to flex your windshield an inch or two.

Thats how important a good tune via sound processing along with a good install is. It'll overcome high dollar gear any day.

Now if you have mid tier gear with a good install and tune, you can do the math.

What is a good tune? If you are doing a 2 way front setup + sub then you will need A 3 way active capable head unit with at least a 24 bit dac, 13 bands of eq, time alignment and 4 volt pre-outs.

If you are doing a 3 way front stage setup + sub then you'll want a digital sound processor like a rockford dsr-1 or audison bit one, or a helix processor.

The moral mids such down low. the hsk is tweeter ***** and you can't cross lower thin about 2500 the image is the best sent by far

Why would you need to cross lower then 2.5k?

That’s really good for a 25mm tweeter btw.
