Yeah they are great.

You just don’t know any better. You really need to leave these types of discussions to people that have at least sat in a SQ car in the last 5 years.
like i said you don't understand how to design them. you can do anything you want with a passive network including phase delay.

But why waste the time when most amps have them? Or an active XO is cheap? Why waste time hoping it will be right for that one particular install?
