SQ System

1. I don't listen to the radio and it comes with a frequency converter anyway if I decided to one day.

2.i was going to put one of the woofers in the door and another in a kickpanel of some sort...Q-logic perhaps? My car is a 03 Accord V6 Coupe.

3. I was thinking of going active because of the flexibility that you mentioned earlier.

4. I will make sure I have quality wiring and such. And i will upgrade to make sure i have enough 'juice'.

Me either, but just making sure you were aware.

Potential problem with this. If you don't have the same airspace for each driver, they will behave differently even though they are identical. This could lead to some cancellation issues. Also, by not mounting them very close to each other you lose one of the other benefits of going active which is the ability to fully use time alignment. If you can't mount the woofers close to each other, you are better off using the single woofer set and still going active.

Active will take more time to tune but can sound better than passive. No problem with that.

Don't worry about "quality" wire. Wire pretty much is wire. You don't have to spend a lot to get what you need as far as the wire and connectors themselves go. http://www.knukonceptz.com will have everything you need to get it all wired up at very good prices. My main point was not to forget the support required for a good system. 1/0 wire to the back. 4ga to the amps. Take the time to run a ground back to the battery. Be prepared to add a second battery and an upgraded alt as well. You may not have to, I don't know how loud you like your music, but I want to make sure that ou are prepared in the eventuality that you need electrical upgrades and aren't suprised by the need.

ok...well if i can't get them mounted close together then i will just get the 265's..i need to check with an installer....if it isn't to expensive.

i don't think i'll be doing the 465's if i can't mount them in the kickpanel...

the cost would be too much for me to have custom door panels i think. back to the drawing board //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/furious.gif.fc81ca146dbff91fede3ed290dbc4f4c.gif
