I was saying that, other speakers that dont cost as much can sound just as good to those bostons to most people. There isnt a huge difference in quality once you get up to the 200/400$ range in speakers. Yeah im sure the more expensive ones are better but is the cost worth whatever the difference is between that and the lower model? Now unless youre the most anal sq person ever, the price wont justify the improvements over the lower model. But thats just me.

I don't want to jump up to 12's because I want the bass to be tight, accurate and it has to be fast. Ever since I started looking for my first system, do to the type of music I listen too, 12's won't be able to keep up with the kick drums like the 10's would. A lot of bands I listen to produce 210 bpm and faster. Here is a example:

the people who say that 12's don't sound as "tight" as 10's, don't know what they're talking about. it's all about the enclosure, in relation to the subs specs. there's nothing wrong with 10's though, if that's what you like. they can get just as low as 12's.

all im saying is you can buy speakers for alot less and youd never tell the difference.
