SQ Sub time...

I've been planning on a single Diamond D912 for my sub stage, but lately I've been looking into the IDMAX 12 and am very intrigued. Which one of these subs would be the best for daily and also possible novice SQ competition? (the kicker CVX is also an option). I'm not really looking for other random sugguestions, unless you have one thats in the same price range that really beats the others. Let's hear what you guys think

I have just gotten two JBL 1241d subs, they rms at 300 a piece dvc 4 ohm and with 600 on the set in 2 cubes each @ 32 hz.. these things are amazing

the SQ is dead-on and they get pretty loud... although not as loud as my xxx 15s they are pretty loud especially for the little bit of power im throwing at them

Go with the D9, I love mine. They get loud and sound good doing it.

d9 will probably take more abuse

idmax is a **** good woofer though, i miss mine. still trying to wait patiently for the v4

D9 imo. very clean & no mechanical noise when i heard a finished one @ my local shop.
