Sprint Sero Plan open signup

is there a way to have the cost of the phone put on the bill instead of haveing to pay up front for it? i was going for a touch but i cant do the 250 for it upfront, but come jan i can lol,but i only want on this plan so i can use the phone as a modem in my van lol so i can use my pc on the road

well i went thru the online deal again and chose a free phone lol because i dont know if the humans got my order rite, so i got the plan on the m500 wich i can use as a modem , and which ever phone i get first will be the phone i use , now i need to find out how to add my old phone to the account so i can still have my dc service as well lol

one other dumb question for sprint masters lol,

i know the sero plan im on has unlimited data, does that data inclued useing the phone as a modem or is that an extra charge i need to inquire about ?

Doing it online is the only way you can sign up for SERO, or at least I was told that by the Sprint rep.
I was able to get on SERO through Retentions. Just gotta get the right person on the phone that is willing to help you out.

Ill bet NOBODY can match my plan

$100 a month, unlimited minutes, with AT&T.

Its an old plan, no longer avilable, but as long as i keep paying the bill, i will never lose that plan.
Erm....SERO>Your plan //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif

About using it Phone AS Modem, that is a seperate $40 package, don't even know if you can add it with Sero. What you should do, get a 700wx or Mogul then use PDANet and bluetooth/tether to your computer and use the internet undetected for free. If you don't want a smartphone, then you need a phone that you can disable NAI on I believe, a900 is the last regular phone that I looked at that could do so, but why not go all out and get a smartphone anyway?

well ive already been thru the m300 and i also got the m500 today lol, and said hell with it and actavated it, i will call them tommrow and tell them i dont want this phone, and upgrade to a 20-40 dollar phone, keep that phone for a week and call them and say im still not happy and then go with a phone that cost 40-50 more and keep doing that untill i have enough credits to just get the touch phone lol and then leave them alone.... i just cant do 250 out of pocket all at once but i can over a few weeks lol

Ok, so I really need a phone, and I'm really looking into the SERO w/ the Mogul. But I do have a few ?s... hopefully some of you can answer. I've been reading through all of the Slickdeals info, but still have questions.

For those of you with the Mogul, how is its performance? I don't plan on loading it down with apps, mainly just email/text/word/music. I'd like to keep things simple initially. What firmware are you using? Any custom roms? I do enjoy modding, don't necessarily want to brick a new phone. How is the internet speed (apart form whatever wifi signal is available)?

Is the Touch worth it w/o the keyboard? I feel like if HTC gets on the ball with the new firmware update, the Mogul should have better performance than the Touch with the slide out keyboard.

I hope to play with both at the Sprint store tomorrow, but I doubt I'll be able to really test out many of its available features.

Also, what is required to activate the phone? I couldn't find anything through Slickdeals, and I don't want deal with ignorant CSR's necessarily.

I really enjoy my Touch but texting can be kind of a pain. I guess that's all I have to say about that.

Just an update here, I just shot Sprint an email asking to swap the Touch out for the Mogul.

I've been reading that most of the issues with the Mogul were taken care of with the Rev A update, and the Mogul now supports GPS, which the Touch doesn't.

Also, the physical keyboard on the Mogul is a definite plus for me.

I have some minor issues with the touch, most notably the frequent dropped calls I get.

They're both the same price, and I have the full protection plan, so I'm optimistic they won't have a problem swapping out the phone.

I'll update when I hear back from Sprint.

Dear Macho Man Randy Savage, Intercontinental Heavyweight Champion of the World,

Thank you for your reply.

I understand that currently you have HTC Touch phone and wants to

exchange it for HTC Mogul. I would like to inform you that you can exchange

your handset with the HTC Mogul. The difference is both the prices

will be billed to your account.

I request you to write us back with the confirmation so that I could

assist you in the best possible manner.

Thank you again for contacting Sprint. We appreciate your business.

Sincerely,

Sean S.

Sprint
IIRC They both retail at $549.99, so I won't have to pay anything.

Not to bring a plan back from the dead but spring just called me to do a customer satisfaction survey on me and i told them I would be leaving in a few months when my contract expires to go to another cheaper courier.

I mentioned the SERO plan and he gave me the number to retentions and told me to try to talk to them
