After 2 days of calling both Sprint CS and the Retentions dept., I finally got someone on the phone that hooked me up. I've been a customer of Sprint/Nextel for over 4 years now, and was under contract with Sprint for another year and 4 months on my current plan.
After talking with someone from retentions, he hooked me up- put me on the Sero plan, which includes:
* Unlimited Nights & Weekends starting at 7pm!
* Domestic long distance
* Unlimited Mobile to Mobile
* Unlimited Web/Data Access
* Unlimited Picture Mail (with compatible devices)
Also got unlimited text messages, all for $30/month. Got insurance added for $7/month as well.
At first he wasn't able to get me a deal on a new phone though, said I'd have to wait till November till I qualify for the $75 discount. After asking him if he could do anything a couple times, he came back and said he can do the Moto Q ($449.99) for $249.99 now, plus a $100 MIR, for $149.99 total, so I went ahead and ordered that.
The guy was really cool, and I was straight up with him. I called originally to ask what I can do about transferring my plan to someone else, and when he asked why, I told him my bill is too expensive ($75/month) for what I'm getting, and that I was interested in the Sero, but I didn't qualify, so I was going to look into Verizon after getting someone to take over my contract. After speaking to his supervisor a few times, he hooked me up.
