Speaker turn off with headlights

ok i have a JEEP Grand Cherokee and i put a pioneer radio 2 12 inch subs and an amp in it. Now i did the wiring for my radio without buying a harness. So now everytime i switch my headlights on my speakers shut off. You might of wired your toggle switch to your head lights. I did that a while ago when i had to rewire my HU. I thought it was pretty cool, good steal install but i fixed it b/c i knew it would probably stop working shortly. You might want to go over your wiring agian. Here's a site which should help. Just give hte year and make of your vehical and it'll tell you what wire is what. Big help....

Yea i tried intall doc but they have the wrong schematics for my radio . I think its cuz i got the infinity gold. You have a jeep?

No, no jeep. Buick Centery. I'm trying to remember how i did do that though. Not much other i can say other then try redoing your wiring different. Were in NY you at?

if it is all speakers that go off then you might have done one of 2 things that I know of 1 when you wire the deck in you needed to run the stock infinity amp wire to something what you should run it to is to the remote lead on the deck itself and or to the power entena. you might have wired it to your dimmer. another thing you might have done if deck goes off to is wired exesory to dimmer my guess is something is wired to dimmer wire that shouldn't be. if not your guess is as good as mine ohh I have a 95 grand cherokee. what is the 10 bucks to get a wire kit that bad shakes head.

You probably wired your deck power to a switched source, instead of a constant +12 volts - that's what I'd check first.
