Speaker level inputs.

So I just bought a mini amp. I plan on using the speaker level input. So I have to splice rcas and run my factory wire into the rcas. So how do they connect? Because I know the negative and positive shouldn't touch. Is that why one part of the rca wire is shielded and one isn't? The amp is a kenwood kac-m1804

the "shielding" that you are referring to is -. you'll want to get ahold of twisted RCAs, it makes it easier.

I have tried multiple hi level setups running before and after stock amp also tried loc and nothing even came close to aftermarket radios just my 2 cents from all the money I wasted and time do whatever you can to get a aftermarket radio.
