Im car shoobie and i admit it, dun anderstan this audio speak. i stumbled over speaker filters. can anyone explain to me what they do, what noise they filter, and is it common for audiophiles to have em or what?

speaker filters? you must be talking about bass blockers. they block bass from getting to your mid drivers which can cuase them to distort.

Theres also filters u can buy that'll cancel out ground looping and other such noises.

Do they work on your highs also cause my tweeters aren't clear like I want them, or should I just buy a crossover.
