Speaker Adapter

I own a 2000 Grand Cherokee and I wnat to replace my speaker but I have an issue with the rear speakers. I've did my research and some sources tells me that the rear speaker is 6-1/2 but some say 6-3/4. I need to figure out where can I get the adapter to install aftermarket speakers

what speakers are you tring to install? most 6.5's are oversized so wether it's 6.5 or 6.75 if you get a 6.5 it may still work

I've tried to install some new speaker and the hole won't match

what speakers were they? if you need an adaptor it's easy to make with some wood.

I've made adapters for 6x9 to 6.5.

It's real easy to make.

just make an adapter ring out of some 1/2'' ply or something

do you know exactly which model it is that would help determin if it's an exact 6.5 or not. if it's to small i'd go and search out a 6.75 in speaker. are you wanting a coax or a compenent set?
