If nothing else, the computer discussion proves that the participants are knowledgeable in not just 1 arena. Chill out. At least we aren't bitching and whining...
I have that same processor and have a samsung ssd and gigabyte mobo and gtx 660ti. Overclocked the processor to 4.4ghz, it does its job alright but to be honest, when you try out an intel setup non overclocked, even without an SSD, the I5 4th gen haswell was soo much faster and responsive. Kinda wish I did full intel instead but my gaming days are looooong gone so idk why i even bother with computer upgrades.if you were an AMD guy, youd love my rig. fx8350 bulldozer, 3 tb of storage, 240 gb ssd for the boot sector, 16 gb of ddr3, asus mobo, asus dvdrw drive, usb 3.0 4 port front port(slight casemod) cooler master seidon liquid cooler, ati radeon 5450 video card (only 1gb ddr3) and win 7 ult 64 bit. My only weak spot is my video card, but i dont game, so its fine
exactly... macs are overpriced for what you are actually getting. you want mac OS? go torrent an .iso, mount it to usb or dvd-r and install it on a FAR less expensive soon-to-be-ex-windows machine and get a hackbook sticker for the case lidlasting for years or not depends on how much use and abuse its gone through. I've had an Acer aspire laptop when i was 16, was botting games to earn extra money and the games are graphically demanding and the hacking software was creating heavy overload on both the processor and cpu, basically running multiples of the already graphically demanding game. The computer was on 24/7 every day of the year for 4 years, i've dropped it countless times spilled water etc like every other teen. That thing survived through everything until i left it in the trunk of my friend's car that got rear ended.
They all use the same internal parts, hell its actually sh*tty parts when you actually take a mac laptops apart and see the cheap chinese mobos used it in basically similar to dells. Thats why you build your own computer, at least you know you got a quality motherboard, ssd, processor and everything else to have a proper computer. As for laptops all brands even apple has their ups and downs.
i forgot to mention that this is also COMPLETE BS that car gets no more than 20 on a good day and all that weight in the back is surely reducing your mpgs.I get 32mpg city
