I was actually feeding my child. Anyway for RCAs. The signal in is important don't you think?

The heat sink. Those fins are not just air channels they are surface area. The more you have the more heat is pulled off the board

You're answer is irrelavent to my post.

RCA "wires" do matter and distance also, but since we were speaking of amps i meant the RCA circuit connector.

Full range amps use dual connector circuit lines to a dual/single linear connector. As for a mono uses a single to single connector especially class d amps.

As for airway you just reinstated exactly what i have posted.

there is a reason AMD uses tin in their processor cores as its substrate as opposed to silicon, metal exchanges heat with air better than plastics... period.... also the reason when my liquid cooler plate which connects to my cpu in my rig is copper... bets heat exchanger bang for your buck.

i realize im talking computers in a car audio forum, but the principle is the same regardless what electrical product youre talking about

A computer nerd, hell yeah, I thought I was alone. I run Intel and nvidia though. I7-4770 and a GTX-770. I had liquid cooling on my amd 8350 but when I swapped to Intel I never got a different bracket. I don't over clock anymore so I'm happy with it on air.

if you were an AMD guy, youd love my rig. fx8350 bulldozer, 3 tb of storage, 240 gb ssd for the boot sector, 16 gb of ddr3, asus mobo, asus dvdrw drive, usb 3.0 4 port front port(slight casemod) cooler master seidon liquid cooler, ati radeon 5450 video card (only 1gb ddr3) and win 7 ult 64 bit. My only weak spot is my video card, but i dont game, so its fine

You have it O.C any? I too run AMD. What do you use it for if not for gaming ?

nope, running 4.0 ghz. Istarted building a computer last spring and i just said "the hell with it... im going overboard" basically didnt want to be obsoleted in like 2-3 years. Future-proofing. Well that and its always nice to be assured in your mind that when a task that needs to be completed comes up, and you ask yourself "can my rig handle that" for the answer to ALWAYS be yes //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

What ram and mobo are you running?

My friend has that same motherboard and it just went out a few days ago. We are having to take everything out and send it back. Good thing it came with a 3 year warranty when he bought it lol

One of my other friends runs a Gigabyte board
