I can help you with this if needed. Feel free to PM . Aero's are great in certain applications. If you can fit one in your enclosure they are the way to go IMO.
So I did the port length calculator do you by any chance know what the flare length port required means? I assume the straight length port required mean how long the pipe has to be. Is the flare port length equal total length once assembled top to bottom?
That's what I used, after I put in all the specs on the left and press calculate I get 3.396 straight length port required and flare length port required is 4.396( this is what has me confused).
I put 33 but I'll be happy anywhere from 32-35

Don't you dare buy a 2" aero. You'll kill yourself after hearing so much port noise. If you're doing two SQ 8s and tune down to 33hz, don't go any smaller than a 4" aero. Trust me, I know. This is my latest SQ 8s build. We did two 4" aeros. Each 17" long.
So since my sub box will need to have about a 3" by 12" long cutout to sit flush to back cab, subs will only fit on on bottom of box were would be the best aero port location?
