glass thickness

If I build a sub box and and just use glass to dress the outside (subs sealed in mdf) and to seal around some 6.5s how many layers to I need to shoot for?

Pic of box design glass will go from subs down to first side lip. It will be a roof sitting in a roll cage.

Do you want to bond the edges of the glass to each other? Ive got some if you need the name of it.

are you talking fiberglass????

as in layering fiberglass over it ??

wandering how many layers to use???

if so i would do 3 layers of mat. that should be good enough. if its not really hard then add another layer.

Sorry,yeah I mean fiberglass. Since the subs were sealed in the mdf box just curious how much I needed to seal in the 6 1/2s dress up the rest of the box. It would have to be all external and scared to do to much and start to loose the shape of the first layer of felt. Don't want it to Crack and fall apart either.
