Soundqubed HDC3 break in period ? (not very loud currently)

First time I've heard about Honda's ELD...got dangit I have a 99 accord too. No wonder I had issues with my 1995 Acura Integra before as well. Thanks for the info.

I'm from Dallas area as well. What shop was this?

UPDATE:

Posting the photos to a photo album currently (he was out of town this weekend so I took them today).

I should have the photo album up in the next two hours. The deminsions of the box where 15 x 24 x 21

well your box is 3.43 net upload the pics to imgur and copy paste the linked bb code so they show directly on the thread

Vaughans mobile electronics in Arlington (he choose that shop because they do mostly digital design products which are similar to soundqubed). When I had my sundown E12, it took four shops to find one that could properly adjust the headunit/amplifier (the shop was earmark plano, dudes who work there are freaks when it comes to knowledge). I would of told them to go there but they only install products they sell (they only sell highend products that are terrible value for the cash such as hertz and focal). They will work on your car if the products have been installed (they do cleanup on other shops mistakes).
In regard to ELD (for those who where referring to it earlier) I also drive a honda (05 civic) and it blows (mike singer is currently making me an alternator that will include the ELD bypass on the alternator). ELD is hindering the performance but still doesn't explain why a kicker Z750.1 with CVX in a prefab is significantly louder than a HDC3 in custom box with Q1-1200.1

Thats technically gross. Net is the number after sub and port displacement
oh well yea, but im saying if its 3.43 net before sub and port it should be right at 2.2 hopefully after everything else. thats how my old hds312 box was i think

nvm just saw the port pic.

also that gain is it 1/4 or 3/4? its perfectly flat. i noticed the sq amps have a really good clipping indicators on the knob. play a 40hz test tone adn turn your gain up untill that lights up

could also be box though that whole sub forward port backward. play around with the positioning of that.

is that sealed??? -_____________________________-

Is what sealed ? (the trunk or those wires coming out from the bottom ?
Not sure on the gain (I work with him tomorrow so I can go in there with a screwdriver and find out). They said to him he'll eventually want a bigger amp so i'm guessing they turned it to 3/4 but i'll double check

Ports at the back.

But they do have a break in period. Don't full tilt them and play them stupid low until the spiders get broken in.. You can rip the spiders..

But on 1200rms you have nothing to worry about.

break in period for spiders issue was 4-5 years ago. Beat on it from day one and the suspension will soften up some and get a little louder. Will be no issues assuming you're not playing way below box tuning with a ton of power and a 1200 isn't a ton of power....
