Do I need to or what’s the procedure to break in new subwoofers? Two Sa v2 d4s 12in. Plus new box and SIA 2500 amp.

Congrats. They were mentioning these types of speakers earlier on. If you could place a picture of them on. So I’ll know how the high schoolers liked their music. Sounded like a pile of rubbish. But still make do. Never mind. Here’s a similar product thought different numbers on the sundown. 1000 watts.

Ok thank you..the sub sonic filter (ssf) right? Needs to be set to what the box and subs hurtz are? The box says it’s tuned to 32hz and subs says recommended 35hzNo Shade on our resident expert but... lol
I think break-in was the question and with your setup I'd say just set your ssf correctly and let those puppies eat.
New setups can be fun and a learning curve... just use your head and take it slow. Watch for smells and back off, learn your systems limits then enjoy.

Yeah, half the RMSSo I need to keep the knob turned down for a while?
Op the ssf should be set dependent on the type of filter, iirc in your case I'd set it 6hz under tuning or 26hz or so.The ssf should be set around 80-120hz.
Opps mixed up ssf & lpf. Ssf should be aroind 5hz below box tuning.Op the ssf should be set dependent on the type of filter, iirc in your case I'd set it 6hz under tuning or 26hz or so.
The advice quoted above would be a ballpark for low pass settings
