I got plenty wood.Just heard a RL-p 12 sealed today, it got loud and didnt sound like pooh...what an amazing thing !
i know //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif it was sooo beautiful.

that thing was 2.0 sealed and it was louder than my 12" LI ported 2.75 tuned to 29 hz...the RLP didnt get as low tho.

cant wait to stick those ports in there!

RL-p. demo'ed it for a few of my friends and they liked it. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

Arc Audio + RL-p + Moe Lester enclosure = teh win!

SQ in the RL-P's box was much much better, but it still wasn't loud.
Guess this is where relative perspective falls into play......but I wouldn't consider a woofer capable of over 140db to be "quiet" //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif Considering that is well over any output level that would be necessary for musical purposes.

Im with squeak.

If its loud enough to make you deaf ( 140dB) then its loud enough for daily driving.

Plus, at those levels the bass just cancels out any trebel and midrange.

i havnt had my truck meted but im pretty sure its near 140 and i can hear the highs just fine

i'll let you know. i just bought a crossfire vr2000d modded to handle .5 ohm loads, should do around 2800 @ 1 ohm. im going to start out giving my 12's about 800 a piece, then slowly bump it up every few days. probably not going to run over 900 each though. they're in a 2.6 net sealed box.

i can also hear my highs fine, even on bme click and late night tip, but i've got some pretty serious components //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/up2something.gif.dd110ecf3ae4b76050d87598f2f8de7c.gif

Hopefully you are figuring power output with a DMM and clamp meter?
