they are god's gift to car audio so why would you want testing or comparisons from anyone else?
You know, there's a point in time where you can try too hard to make a point //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

Mark spoke the truth here...which was that the RL-p is a better SQ driver, and the Type R is better suited for the lanes, generally speaking. So there's no reason for you to do this, unless you intentionally want to start something. In that case, do us all a favor and take it to PM.

exactly...

the RL-P sounded better once it was in its box, alot better.

Great SQ driver, but its not a "loud" driver, relatively speaking. Maybe a 140 at 40hz is plenty for some, but when you can get so much more out of the R.. hrmm...

Whatever floats your boat, the SPL test was 100% objective and you cant argue with numbers.

The RL-p is a better all around sub.

The Type R gets loud and thats it.

Not everyone is obsessed with how loud the sub can get.

I know of quite a few people who would rather have it sound good than get 150dB.

Spkrman, you need some SHUT IT stew.
