Ok so I don't know if there's already a thread like this (I searched, but i'm not quite sure what to search FOR, so I was unsuccessfull with my results) but are there threads dedicated to bass songs of a certain frequency? Like, a thread for songs 20-30hz? 30-40hz? 40-50hz? etc.
I think that would be really helpful, because I know everybody's system hits differently, so those massive "bass track" threads have songs that hit crazy low, and songs that hit really high, and I, not having a sub on my computer speakers, don't like getting a song, putting it on my ipod, and going all the way to my car and testing it out. It's just a pain in the ***.
Also, the only song editing-type software I have is audacity, and I don't know how to use it well enough to find the frequency of a note. (If I knew how to do that, I wouldn't even need this thread lol)* So if threads like I mentioned don't already exist, perhaps that would be a good thing to start up? Just a suggestion. I know it would make my situation (and people in a similar situation) much easier lol.
Sorry if i'm the only one on this forum that lacks the technological know-how to do this, and all you guys are masters of da bass lol. Again, I'm a newbie, so just bear (bare?) with me. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif
*little footnote on the audacity thing-if the threads I mentioned don't exist, and somebody that reads this knows how to find frequencies on audacity, maybe you could tell me how? Or give me a link to a how-to video? It'd be much appreciated.
