he didn't say that about SS.. he actually said that about REs.. and soundstreams.. with more focus on the soundstreams.

I prettttty much tuned him out on the RE bs he was tossing me though.

Basically, I value his opinion as someone who's seen construction and development of subs over time.... if you understand where I'm coming from. *NOT* necessarily as a guy who's on the up and up of all new subs on the scene.

After seeing those comments he made, I wouldn't trust much that came out of his mouth.

What would you say about soundstreams then (actually I'm most interested in what you think of their amps...)
Depends on which lines you are referring to. Like any other company, they have good quality products (in both subwoofers and amplifiers) and much more budget oriented equipment.

Overall, Soundstream is a good company with good products.

That's cool.. because I've really been getting into what they have to put out, but it seemed as though they were a bit of a lower end company than other amp companies out there. Again, just wasn't sure.

I like to read though.. .do you happen to know of any links/sites that would have info on the companies themselves?? Anything from where their products are produced, to how the company has done over time.. anything like that.

I'm a sponge, baby.. a freakin sponge.

Just pick a sub that does what you want it to do based on the reviews. Youll go crazy trying to track down every sub that will get loud and sound good doing it, for your own personal listening.

In this hobby, chances are youll want to switch equipment pretty soon anyway, so just pick something and be done with it.

yah, ive had about 8 setups in my 2005 mustang....i say the year model as to show how often i change setups lol. im about to run 4 10's sealed an roughyl 2000 watts, so we shall see how loud i can get //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

Soundstream as has been around for a while now. And as many have said produce different levels of equipment. Some soundstream amplifiers of yester year are still highly sought after works of art //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif
