hey just need some info and input because i cant pick which set either two 15's sealed or 3 12's ported tuned to 33hz what would you guys do? thanks.

3 12's would have more cone area. ported would have more displacement. the 3 12's would be the way to go am i right?

The 3 12's have SLIGHTLY more cone area, and them being ported will give them more output capability.

The 15's may have more authority on the lower notes, but depending on the subs/box/power available, both setups could sound fairly similar.

Why wouldn't you port the 15's?

Wouldn't porting 3 12's and porting dual 15's require about the same volume? Guess it depends on the specs.

because i need a box plan and dont really have the space do you have a plan for some 15's also im looking to put 1400 watts into these subs.

Umm, I checked the SD of a few 12's and 15's of the same brand/model and the 15's come out on top.

Which ones, that's more the question than the size o' the box... you find out how much space you have to work with with your or someone elses box building skills, then go from there.
