Someone using my fedex number to ship things.

post his screen name!!!!11!!11!!!!
Don't snitch, I've been informed that snitching people who are stealing is not the proper behavior. You should allow them to get caught by their own actions. Then you'll be respected and you'll be able to sleep well knowing you did not turn someone in for breaking the law. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif

posting his screen name isnt turning anyone in...

since when did posting a name on the forums become as serious as pressing criminal charges?
I didn't say it was... just trying to ascertain what is considered kosher in terms of 'snitching' on someone. I mean if it's a matter of degrees...

listen, if you want to tell the grocery store who was stealing beer to keep your job, more power to you.

its just not something i would do.

Just saying, there seems to be quite a double standard here... on this forum people scream for blood when we think someone is ripping people off, we want people 'outed' when they do anything that may be shady... this community relies on feedback and honesty to keep the marketplace here going strong, in large part.

But yet, many people seem to think it's ok to steal and rip people off in person, and we should protect them from getting caught or at the very least not rat them out so they don't get in trouble. Why is it any different? Doesn't this seem a bit... hypocritical to you?

i think tiger bass put it best:

There's a difference between snitching to authorities and watching each other's backs.

I have the dude's information available on my fedex account since he basically wrote it all into the form and fedex keeps it on file. if they inform me it was indeed him then yeah ill let you guys know who it was. ill post it in the buyer seller feedback forum. if there is one.

I just dont think its right to outright post his screen name. he was honest during the transaction and the product was perfect as described. And he's the only person ive given the acct number to.

This thread is pointless. Either you have given your account # to various people on the forum, or you gave it to one individual. With any type of common sense, if it's being shipped from the same city as the guy that you gave it to, then report him. /story
