No, I would not report a speeder going through my neighborhood. Why, because it would take up too much time and nothing would be done about it. However, if I did complain enough to get something done, think about the result of that...you have wasted a ton of time complaining to your neighbors, neighborhood council, mayor, cops, etc. All of these people are more than likely going to be sick and tired of you, including the cops and mayor, because those are people you want to be pissing off, and at the end of it all, the ONE speeder than you wanted to report will probably never be seen again.

It's all about whether it is worth my time and other's time, and reporting a single speeder simply is not.

Well, it might have made a bit of a difference to Chad May, 19, of Farmville, NC, who who died in my arms back in May, after being hit in front of my house by a speeder in a residential section. One of those people we complain about but seldom do anything, because it might get us labeled as a neighborhood nitpick or snitch.

Yep, had a feeling you were going to pull the whole guilt card on me. Not to attack the integrity of this unfortunate guy, but don't you think there could have been a much easier, more feasible, and less time consuming manner to prevent this poor kids untimely death? And don't get me wrong, I feel bad for this kid, but death is a natural part of life and people die every day.

So are you also trying to say you have NEVER sped before? Even when you were late for work, had to the post office for they closed, or just toying around in your car when you were younger?
