I heard about tomorrow night's show too...supposed to be a show with Lower Level Customs and Advance Auto Parts I think. Independent SPL event. I'm taking the weekend off, so if anyone goes, good luck //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif
I just checked the car shows forum and it's listed on there, I noticed it a few days ago but didn't really look at the date. I think I blew my transmission anyway, so I'm not going anywhere.
Yeah a little, figures too cause I just spent a decent amount of money on a new amp and my Rockford EPX2 broke, so I really hope it's not the trans and it doesn't cost me $2k to get fixed.
I heard the car show at this show had a good turnout, and the judges didn't really judge the cars, they just looked at them and walked away. But nobody I've talked to has said anything about the SPL portion of the show, guess it was quiet over there.
a buddy of mine who told me about it hasnt gotten @ me as to whether he went or not, but glad i worked OT and mowed my lawn instead of wasting a trip to NH //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif
I was told that they charged $25 to get in the gate, and another $25 to compete in USACi. $25 is pretty decent for a 2X fee, just ***** you'd have to pay the losers at the Dragway $25 to get in.
$17 was the spectator charge, $15 if you had the flyer. It was $25 to get your car in for the car show, then an additional fee depending on what you were there for, drag racing, SPL etc.
