he's far from retarded, big low tuned boxes are where its at IMO:naughty: call me retarded if you wish.
the brahmas going in 3cubes@25Hz soon:naughty: should sound awesome. my B-15 was in 5cubes@20Hz for a few months, and it was insane. best sounding/lowest box ive ever had. awesome setup. it god extremely loud too. just because its 20Hz doesnt mean you wont have output

oh yeah, and you should be able to tune it a fair amount higher if you trim some port off, it might be difficult though seeing as the box is already put together

small amounts. right now i think its 3 X 20 so about 60 sq in.

my friend had only one 6" aero on an RE destroyer and crossfire VR2000D. no port noise. should be ok.

i see what you are saying, but you guys know what you are doing, he doesnt. he just wants to get loud and tuning that low with the little knowledge this man has wont do that. hes only powering it with about 700 watts, he should be doin double that.

ill agree with that.

the lower you tune, the less need you have for an SSF.

the SSF is like an HPF for subs pretty much, it cuts out the bass that you do not want to pass through.

the higher you tune, the higher the chance of your sub bottoming out on the lows.

does it really matter which side the port goes on? should i put it on the same side as the sub or is it ok to have the port facing up?

since its an suv you can always go crx style and fire sub up and port at hatch
