how big is your w7 box?

i am getting a 12w7, and i was wondering what kind of boxes you guys have. should i just go with the JL recommendation? i want ported, and power is from an IA 20.1. and what tuning and power you have would be nice.

yeah twas 3 cubes for one and i liked it much better then the 1.75 at 36 they recommend

My friend has a ported box tuned to 35 Hz...5.2 cubes. Loudest W-7 box I have ever heard. 1000 watts on it.

thats huge, i think the biggest i can go is 4 cubes total. so like 3.5ish without the port. maybe i'll do a 3 cube box, and tune it somewhere around 33-36.

mine is 2.5cu. ft. @ 32hz, and thats after sub/port/bracing displacement.

ive got 3 boxes still hangin round from my 12W7.

3 @ 33 hz,(2-4'' aero) and 2.8 @ 36hz.(6'' aero) and 2.5 @ 35 hz(slot)

144.6 @ 38hz was the 3 cube box score.

is a 3.2 cft box tuned to about 32hz too big for a w7?
