somebody should make a 3 channel amp!

you can take a 5ch, bridge 2 and there's your 3ch...
I hope I'm not the only one that caught this piece of stupidity.

Take a 5ch and bridge 2, now you have a 4 channel... dumbass.

Bridge 2 channels of a 4 channel. Do you have a 2 channel now?

I HAD to come back from the dead after seeing that one.

ironically, the 700.5 is one of our most sold amplifier. While maybe not power like 200x4 and 1000 on subs, for general upgrades to common systems, the 550.3 and 700.5 are awesome. If we need more power, ZX6504 and ZX10001, but getting that kind of power, in one small footprint can be a challenge.

Then it's the DLS for you USD625.00

DLS is a swedish company winning a lot of SQ comps around the world. Really good brand
For the price of the DLS, the output power on the stereo channels sucks, imo. And SQ is 90% install, 10% equipment, so brand means nothing to me.

UMMM... memphis BIG belle..

230 x 2 RMS @ 4ohms(bridge the 4 ch class A/B portion)

and 1100x1 @ 1ohm for your subs. efficient class D //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif..

any questions?

Not trying to disaprove what you are saying, but I do not see someone winning IASCA SQ Comps with Xplods
It'd be a possibility if xplod amps were worth a crap. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/laugh.gif.48439b2acf2cfca21620f01e7f77d1e4.gif

so i guess there are 3 channel amps out there. they just cost a lot and don't put out a lot of power(other than the audison, which seems to have decent power).

Bridge 2 channels of a 4 channel. Do you have a 2 channel now?

youre reading it wrong mr smarty pants. bridge the amp twice (as in running 4 channels, bridged down to 2 channels), and its a three channel.

its still not the right way to do it, and it is kind of the reverse of what the OP is after, but he had it right. logic just wasnt working in your favor //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/tongue.gif.6130eb82179565f6db8d26d6001dcd24.gif

and also, i talked to jake earlier about the possibility of a 7 channel amp... and he said no sir //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif . not for production, his idea was a 6 channel with one of the channels being a sub channel.

i want six channels PLUS a sub channel //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif . so jake is going to look around and see if he can find any combination of chasis/boards that might make it possible for me //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif . 75w x 6 channels + 1 x 800w = //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/yumyum.gif.0556df42231b304b9c995aefd13928a8.gif
