soldering 2 speaker wires okay?

Well i would like to think it wont affect performance, but i just want to be 100% sure. I plan on soldering my speaker wires, but the only thing is that they are silver threaded wires.

Having the appropriate connections soldered together, however, would at most cause an extra few seconds of uninstall time and personally I'd rather know beyond a shadow of a doubt those splices are solid.

although autozone does have these reusable connectors where each side comes apart, and the wire is added through, and screwed back on.

not wirenuts, i just cant remember what they are called.
