personally i would go with the dyn's ive never ran them in my car but ive heard both focal and cdt's and dyn's by far take it for me.

I don't think going with the Dyns would be a bad choice, but considering you'd have to throw the passive crossovers out and run them active to make it worth it, you may want to go with individual drivers and "make" your own set instead. $1000 could buy some very nice individual drivers from Madisound or direct from Hybrid Audio.

Those dyns sound and look sick as hell. I think you'd be happy with those. As for the amps I'd look into arc audio se series amps as well.

Tweeter is going out of business and has the K2P's for $749 right now. One by me had 3-4 sets left. Might want to check them out if you have one close by...
