yeah, it'll do
To deal with the rising cost and decreasing supply of basic foods in the world? Crops such as wheat and corn have been greatly affected recently due to flooding and fire in various producing areas of the world. These are fairly common ingredients in most foods, so there WILL be negative results. Corn is 350% higher for a bushel than this time last year($2 vs. $7) FYI. I'm sure everyone already knew this though, right?

i dont think ive set a plan yet. and i highly doubt il sit down to plan it out. il have to budget my money to work around these higher prices, i guess? but i highly doubt il sit down and make a plan, specifically just for this. i dont think anyone does. they see the higher prices, complain and deal with it.

Good point. With 10% ethanol at most gas pumps, that's driving the price of corn even higher. Also, high fructose corn syrup is used in almost every food product these days. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif

Its OK, all the fallout from these stupid "safe" nuclear reactors will wind up wiping us out before we know it anyway.

I feel you. These nukes need to been done away with.

Except the one i work at //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

The day I let corn affect my daily living I will off my head
Did you ever think you would see gas @ $4/gal? If you smoke, did you ever think cigs would be $5/pack? There's a lot of things changing in our economy at a very alarming rate.

the world will be this soon

Actually these nuclear plants would be quite safe, if they were implemented intelligently. And by intelligently, I dont mean build a nuclear plant on the beach, and have its only means of back-up power that keeps the reactor from going critical being diesel powered generators whose fuel would be washed away in the event of a tsunami. Pretty poor foresight on the part of the Japanese.

France gets 80% of its power from nuclear plants. As of 2001, there were almost 500 nuclear power stations world wide, yet we've only had 3 significant problems with any of them, and all 3 were (arguably) caused by poor planning and human error.

If humans built enough nuclear plants, electricity would be virtually free. 'Big oil' is loving your paranoia over nuclear power, that's a fact.

Buying gold and silver right now (edit, while the us dollar is still worth something....) Already have a lot of land, have tractors, plows, planters, can farm!
