Well I have an amp that will be giving a sub or some subs 1200 watts. I currently have an iDMax 12, but have heard too much about it not liking over 900 watts or so in a ported enclosure. Any recommendations on good SQL subs to use this power? I was thinking 1 12" IA Death Row or 1 SSA 12" ICON. Other ideas... Would really like 2 10s...

Well I have never used or heard a DD sub, but all word of mouth have told me they are pure SPL. And your right, I did say SQL. Lol.

How will a 2512 do on 1200 rms? Was thinking 12" LMS R, but is expensive...

a 2512 will take that fine... probably wont use all 1200 anyway just to keep the gain down a bit...

I will only have to buy 8 of them to match my wattage... Lol. No doubt, I believe they are amazing at SQ, but thats a bit too far on the SQ side. Haha.
