most subs are like .5

And fs is a hertz

example... my IDQ10v3 D2 is listed as... fs 25.528hz, Qts. .384

25.528/.384=66.479166.

I'm going to try it ported.

Low Qts subs, high bl. Don't do it ported only (.1-.3)

Mid qts subs, mid bl, Sure ported or sealed (.3-.5)

High qts subs, definite sealed (.5-1.0++)

NDMstang65 is right. Though I always done anything 3 and under ported and anything 4 and over sealed. This has worked out for me since the mid 90s. just a quick reference though, his is more specific for those that need it

So your idq 10 will be 25.528/0.470 = 54, So a sealed box is optimal for the idq 10's

General rule is closer to 50 sealed and closer to 100 ported

So which part of the sub are the EBP (Fs, Qes) impacted by?

Spider thickness? Motor structure? Xmax?
